I have a hard time believing that my vote counts, I always vote but for some reason I know that no one ever took into concideration that my vote counted.  However, that changes when it comes to local elections in the area.  This week was the Primary for many local positions.  One of those is the Family Court Judge position.  One thing that has always had a lot of concern in my life is family court and how it handles fathers like me.  This county court has seen me in and out of its doors a lot though my last divorce and other cases where I was called in to witness something.  Unfortunatly I had a lot of experience with Judge Hanft that was running to keep his position.  He was in my case as the Law Gaurdian of my daughter.  This guy actually went out to eat with my ex wife to find out more about her.  Is that a problem?  Well, to me it is especially since the same guy who is appointed to take care of the best interest of the child wouldn’t even talk to me on the phone or in the halls while waiting for the court.  Fortunatly, everyone else in the case realized why my daughter was origionally left in New York with me, so they ignored his plea and left her here.  6 months later my daughters step father has been arrested for child abuse.  Wow, Mr. Hanft, you really know what you are dealing with!!! 
The good news was he got slaughtered in the primaries last night!!!!
