I love to learn new things, however going to classes just never works since I have so much other junk in my life. When ever I find a free way to learn something I always try to take full advantage of it. OpenLearn I haven’t played with it to much but I have looked at the courses and they look pretty good.

I love to learn new things too, especially for free! Checked out the site, browsed a few lessons, looks good.

I have an alternative method. I find friends that are in the IT world and I bug them about my problem and see if they can solve it so that I don’t have to. It completely eliminates the need for reading anything!
