(Post Transfered from old Blog)
I just wanted to fill in my readers on the update in the World of Drew. Some of my life has not reached the blog yet since I am trying to get more time to write I have a lot of things “in Work” I have actually been without Internet at home for the past 4 months and all of my posts have been done from my PALM TREO.
So I had interent connected at the new house yesterday so I will be able to be more consistant on my writings, I am actually looking for a new Domain name and Software to use for my Blogs. Any suggestions would be great.
Yesterday was a great day in the life of Dru… I finally found my self at a really large table with three lawyers two realators and a divorced couple. We all signed a lot of papers and haded checks to a lot of people for a lot of money. I am officially a Homeowner as of 12:30 pm yesterday. I am now a Landlord of a Four family and have one Vacant apartment that will have new tenants moving in on the 1st of March.
The other main Pain in my life has been the Divorce and Child Support issue. After the Closing Yesterday I went to the Mail box and sure enough there was my first Child Support payment.
Yesterday was a Great day, I hope there will be a lot more like that in the near future.

I am in the Process of buying my first home, yes very scary.
I am looking for a place in the same school district that I currently live but I want property that I can call my own. Although I know that there is the fact that after I buy this property the Bank will own it for 30 years but hey the Mortgage will be in my name.
The most discouraging thing that happened to me though this whole process that I went though to get my First House. I have dealt with 4 different Agents and two Mortgage councelors over the past year. I have been laughed at and I have been reminded that this is a very upscale area of NY. The only houses that I could find were either way beyond my means or unhabitable. I was lucky that when I finally gave up on my dream of being a property owner and looking for a new rental on Craigs List I was greeted by My now Realator Holli Boyd. I explained my issue and she recomended a Mortgage Councelor to find out what my options were. After lots of hours and lots of money for gas she found me a place that I can not wait to move into. Holli understood everything I was going though and her company is very lucky to have her. This may sound like an advertisement for her but I am just so excited that the offer I put on this house is within my ability to pay for it and it has everything that I have been looking for.
I just want to say thank you to Holli for the work she has done.
